Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Dec 23 8:11 am)
Yes I saw this posted on another forum I'm a member of. So very sad - especially for his family and his little daughter ......

My aspiration: to make a decent Poser Render I'm an Oldie, a goldie, but not a miracle worker :-)
Wow! I'm shocked! They are saying either suicide or accidental drug overdose. How very sad and tragic :(

I loved him in "The Patriot" and got a kick out of him in "Knights Tale". The acting world will truly miss him. As fas as I am concerned he was on par to be another Johnny Depp.
They're saying now that it was an accidental overdose of sleeping pills.
For me his acting was an "aquired taste", when I first saw him on screen it was in "Ned Kelly" which I didn't like very much. But then I saw him in a few other movies and really enjoyed his acting. He made the character believable.

I particularly liked his shortlived TV Series called "Roar", Fun fantasy adventure type! He reminded me a lot of someone I dated for a while. He'll definately be missed.
I liked the guy and playing Joker was really going out on a limb. Most of the moviegoing world remember Jack Nicholson as Joker and will always associate him with that role. Mr Ledger took one hell of a risk and I believe he won. Me, I can't wait to see The Dark Knight.
The world is a smaller, colder place without him.
My condolences to his family and friends.
RIP Mr Ledger.

I can't say I ever really liked the guy. But it was a tragic loss for his family and all. But he did as far as I've read play a perfect joker for this version of batman. Don't get me wrong I never said he was a bad actor, never said he was a good one either. But the whole death thing sucks. No one deserves to go like that.

I can't believe this! I'm sure a lot of people here were just as excited as I was that Heath landed the role of the Joker in this summer's Dark Knight movie. No word on if he filmed enough of the movie to still be in it, although they'll probably think of a way.
He was definitely one hell of an actor, only 28 years old. Damn shame...
