"What 3D Program Should I buy?" Not one person here can really tell you what's best for you, as everyone has their own taste in workflow. Try the demo or learning edition of the program you're interested in, this is the only way to find out which programs you like.
Thanks Teyon.
Looking at your gallery you've come along way from the Rhino days with your SubD modelling. Some of the comments in your gallery have suggested you should turn your work into Poser products, so maybe what we are doing at MeshManglers may interest you as well?

Thanks. Would be a conflict of interest. I work for the folks who make Poser. They'd probably take issue with me selling through someone else...probably. Never came up really but I have a feeling it's in that contract somewhere. :)
Oh, and careful with the posting. It's a nice idea but I'd hate to see problems arise because you want to get things started. ;D

MeshManglers is launching a project aimed at bringing artists with different but complimentary skills together in a collaborative approach to model making and selling. Many modellers, riggers, texture artists, hobbyists etc. who are talented in their area of expertise, would like to sell products at the Renderosity Marketplace or elsewhere. They have talent in one or more aspects of product creation but lack the ‘total’ skills required to bring their project to completion. That is where Mesh Manglers comes in.We are setting up an open forum area where those with a job to complete can meet up with those who have the skills to help complete it.
This is how it works.
Example 1: A modeller has a character model or prop that they have finished, but to sell it at Renderosity as a Poser model they need the model, rigged, uv mapped and textured. They visit us at Mesh Manglers where they advertise in our "Help Wanted" forum for the services of a rigger, uvmapper etc. Other artists who visit MeshManglers, who are capable of rigging, texturing etc can visit the forum, see that there is a modeller seeking help and offer to collaborate on the project.
Example 2: A texture artist who would like to collaborate with other artists on a project visits us at Mesh Manglers where they can list their details in our ‘Skills List’ forum. This allows a team already engaged in a project to find that one missing talent that they need to finish their project.
In order to be a part of MeshManglers you don't have to be a professional artist. You may be a hobbyist who is good at what you do but just need a bit of help to get that project finished and ready to sell. There is no charge or obligation this is just an idea that those of us at MeshManglers would like to try to get off the ground.
So for all you modellers who have models gathering dust on your hard drive, or you riggers itching for something to bone then visit us at www.meshmanglers.com
