I like ditto by Kaveman who is a member of renderosity so you could IM him to find out where to get it from. Xshruggy is also very very useful. These are quick and easy and oh so good to work with. I know a lot of others use different things, including some people slowly placing all their folders by hand. (I think mac users think thats what PC users do when PC users say they move things by hand, but PC users merge folders, wheras mac users replace, unless you use Ditto) Love esther
I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!
In all seriousness, I have never had to convert a file, even those that claim I will need to. You may want to try the PC files first before getting too worried. grin For installation, BetterZip works nicely in my experience, and I'll second the recommendation for XShruggy.

It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye texture.

For those rare instances I need to convert .rsr files to .png files on Mac OS X, I use RSRConv. Click link above for application.you won't really miss it after a short time without it. Love esther

I use Macbarcoda- it is really great because it made barcodes in AI format and was really easy to use. All other barcode programmes are of high proctology value. I also use FreeHand 9 on my G4 at home and PhotoShop 7- we cannot all afford the latest at our domiciles. I would still rather leave OS9 than 10.5.1!
Have a great day!

Hi there is a Free barcoding app on the Apple Download site that saves Vector eps files.
I use it.
there are also some fairly capable image editing apps that are free also that use OSX's "Core image" technology
af far as Freehand Goes ..Well
I used to be a fan Many years ago
but its a discontinued app so I moved on to illustrator
Good Luck
Cheers

Thanks, mate, this is turning out to be very useful indeed! Apologies for it being off the Poser track! Just before I head off to dubdubdubdot Apple, I need to know: I have AI CS2 and it has one serious drawback- it can only work in RGB or CMYK or vice versa. FreeHand will allow me to do so simultaneously as well as fluently. Does CS3 allow this yet? I regularly do work in CMYK and have to add spot gold or silver for example. As a result I keep working in FH. Thanks again for your input.

injectionposebuilder was useful. I have to admit I do secretely have a PC networked to my mac and it sees my drives perfectly hapilly with DAVE. but everytime I've found a software that I think I need for it, along comes an equivalent mac one. Love esther

I have recently updated to Mac OS X 10.5.1. It's a great operating system, but, as it no longer supports Classic, I can no longer use Maconverter and Macinstaller. What would you Macsters out there suggest and how are you getting around this problem? Is there another way to convert the Poser files from PC to Mac? Should I try and contact PhilC? Has anybody been able to reach the Petrelli's?
Thanks in advance,
Vincent.
