I've been a fan of Masamune Shirow's artwork for years, and swfreeman's MN23 model inspired me to have a crack at one of his other designs. This is the Seburo C25a from the manga 'Ghost in the Shell'. The texture map still needs a bit of work, but it should be available as a Freestuff mesh before the end of the week. gps

I LOVE Masamune Shirow, he is the man! I'm teaching myself some 3D programs as we speak for the explicit reason of bringing some of Shirow's stuff into poser. Textures are cool and all but I really want to get more of that armored feeling. BTW heh heh, My ARMORTEK textures look great for all your Anime needs ; )

While I've got yer attention. First of all THANX for the really cool guns, they'll be all I use for my renders anymore. Second when I bring the guns into Poser they're HUGE. What's the proper scale to set them to? I think I've use them at 20% but that seems a little small. Thanx again. Jon

i have to thank YOU for downloading them :D hmm...strange..ive scaled them already.. maybe poser messed up my default scale.. ive scaled and added the weapons to my poser props ,this way i havent to scale them always ,when i import them.. by the way... ive got a nice landmate /powerarmor/exos in my props folder :) and the crab-tank from gits, they just need a texture

spratman ( ) posted Tue, 23 July 2002 at 7:19 PM

Hmmm... Maybe it's a Mac thing, I've had this happen before. What do you usually scale them to, when you do it the first timer? A landmate? oh way cool, that tanks pretty cool too. Sigh and here I thoght I was gonna be doin' something original ; )

swfreeman ( ) posted Tue, 23 July 2002 at 7:41 PM

hmm...dunno how much it is scaled...my scaling dials are all at 100%

spratman ( ) posted Wed, 24 July 2002 at 3:09 PM

When I first import them, the dials say 100% but they are really big. I then scale them down (about 20%) and re-add them to my weapon props. Like I said it might be just me since no-one else is chimeing in. Anyway could send/post a pic with the guns at their proper size lined up against something in the standard poser props file? That way I can judge better how big they should really be. thanx for all your help! Jon PS. Just hadda dig out all my copies of Appleseed and re-read 'em. Such cool stuff ; )
