I'm starting out on a new freebie, it's going to be a drop ship. Just thought I would post for anyone interested. 😄

Looks the start of something cool!  Keep up the good work.  Oh, what are you modelling in?  Is that 3D Studio Max?  Just curious for no reason, specifically. LOL.

Yeah, it's always a slow start. But it will start to shape up.

You need a place for a troop-deployment door/ramp so the troop can sally into battle, and some landing skids.  Looking VERY cool!

Yes, a morphing cannon fodder, errr...I mean personnel ramp will be included. 😉
Not sure on the skids yet, some things are left to inspiration!

Looking good.  I detect a serious Chris Foss influence there.  Before he forgot how to draw, that is.

This is shaping up really well - I agree with Sam about the Foss influence. Any chance of a mini-tutorial (or even a full one) when you're done?

DarkEdge ( ) posted Sat, 16 February 2008 at 2:09 PM

Okay, I think I can put something together...it won't be full blown but show what I did to some extent. 😉

The tutorial is in speed mode but shows how I flesh out the design.

Looking good - love the Foss flavour. Will you be attempting a similar Foss colour scheme?

Cheers
