Subject: How Does One Map an Object?

A pretty basic question but what, please, is the simplest way to map a 3D object, e.g. clothes? This must have been asked before ...

Not exactly sure what your asking, but bringing it into UV Mapper and then assigning a Z-axis planar UV Map is always a good place to start.

UVMapper takes a while to get used to, but it is a great program. Make sure to look at the "Hot Keys" under Help/Hot Keys. There are lots of good tools "hidden" there.
