Subject: Oceans like in the "Sneak Peak"?

I'm nearly pulling my hair out as I've tried for hours to get an ocean in C6P like in the second and fourth pic of the sneak peak:

Unfortunately I'm not sucessful and the manuel isn't of much help either.

Does anybody know where I can find a decent tutorial that helps? Or perhaps whom I could ask for help? I wonder if the creator of these images is around perhaps...
Btw, the third pic is an interesting technique, too. Seems that it's possible to give the terrain a very special shape. Have to figure that out, too.

Any help is highly appreciated, thank you!

You need some pirates to get you back Sparrow! Ocean is just a primitive that you can put in the scene and with very few controls. The overall scene is another problem: get the right light, the right shade and render.
You can use ocean primivite with replicator to create large oceans too.
The Terrain editor let you use a image as landscape or you can paint it right in the editor.
The shore shader was done using DCG Terrain tools plugin...

Yes, fourth image used ocean primitive with replicator like GKDantas said. But second image has only one ocean primitive. Then, these ocean primitive has the shader with absorption. I think it is important.

Do oceans have to be rectangular?  I'm trying to use an 'ocean' primitive as the water in a hottub, but the hottub is hexagonal in shape.  I've tried everything I know (which isn't much, admittedly) to try and make a hexagon ocean, but can't do it.
Any suggestions?

Use a image in alpha channel to cut pieces out.

Naniwa, you're an angel!!! That is exactly what I wanted to achive - thank you so much for your help!

And yes, GKDantas, I know that the ocean is just a primitve, but perhaps you're right, I need some pirates here.... ;o)) But first of all I have to build my ship, the Black Pearl, which is my next big goal after the ocean 😊
Actually, my problem are the shaders. No matter which I tried, the ocean never looked like in the fourth pic, that's why I asked for your help and a tut. But now that I have the file that Naniwa offered, I have something to start with and it looks so much different from what I tried with the ocean primitive (it's perfect!)

Jedi, almost the time the shaders and light are the problem... light can get a very washed look to the ocean. Goo luck, hope see Black Pearl here when done!

I think what you're looking for is some absorption to have a falloff in transparency related to depth. Here's a bit of a shader to get you started.
