ok here's the prob my texture looks like paper wrapped around a figurine. the figure covered only partially and in spots. i've been following the tutorial what am i doing wrong? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No picture with your post that might give me the extra clues as to what could be happening but here goes: The figure, is it a poser fig. or something you made up? If poser, each char. has a pre-existing uv mapped jpg. Bring that in to your Bryce library and set the map type to parametric. Adjust ambient, diffuse, specular to taste. If not how was your tex map created, and what type of map space are you currently using in Bryce; world, object?

what version of Bryce are you using? Bryce 3 textures must be rotaed 180 degrees on the x axis in order to appear correctly.
