**What's with the crabby old women here these days?
It's a feature-length animated film receiving a worldwide theatrical release, so yes it's a new movie. Jesus!
And I'm with you JHoagland, the Indy trailer gave me goosebumps. Can't wait for May 22nd!

Well that Star Wars trailer gave me goosebumps.

I alway's loved the Star Wars movies for there excelent mixture of real human actors and the graphic effects.
And I beliefe that this mixture is what the movies made great to the point of where they are now.

And now they turned it into a cartoon....yuk.

Like watching nicoledeon or what its called.

So, I dont go see this one.

I am not a complete idiot, some parts are missing :)

This film might be ok because it is 3d, but I would also prefer a live action film.

I just hope that the tv series isn`t crappy (if it ever actually gets made).

Lucas must really want Star Wars to before all generations. I am surprised they are not doing the books, specially the one between ESB and ROTJ. Thrawn would make a great CGI Villain.

BTW
Anyone seen a C3P0 for poser. There used to be one but cannot find it in any of my backups. I need it for a SW Fan site background.

Being a 3d movie rather than a live action movie might be a good thing. The animated Clone Wars series were more enjoyable for me than the Star Wars prequel trilogy.

I agree that the cartoons were better than the movies.  The movies had some great action scenes, but wooden Hayden ruined the main character.

He was quite bad, the worse actor in any of the films (even worse than harrison ford).

If someone was going to do an animated version of Star Wars I think I'd rather the anime studio Gonzo do it after I saw how they did a reinvisioned version of 7 Samurai.   I know it's anime and not CGI, but some of the visuals on that show were pretty good as well as the character and mecha design.

I don't really like the looks of the new starwars from the link.  It lakes the realism of FF:AC and the amicability of the Shrek films.

The animated Clone Wars were better than the last 3 movies, imho. The animator was the guy behind Samurai Jack, which is seriously cool. ^^

I agree with the anime treatment. I watched Samurai 7 and thought it was great. Japanese anime action scenes are very dynamic which American animation cant seem to replicate.

I have all of the Clone Wars cartoons.  Very enjoyable.  Hayden can't act but he sure does look good (he can come over to my place anytime). ;P

Can't wait to see this!
