Video reference! Barring any problems finding fighting/violence in movies or television ;) you could have someone else throw punches to see the full action (maybe with a camcorder or computer cam to catch the action for analysis).
There are many ways to throw punches depending upon the style and skill of the puncher. Some close in work just involves the upper torso (jabs) while most all-out punches utilize the entire body (round house, for instance). Dynamicism is definitely required here to capture the force and momentum.
C makes it easy to shoot yourself in the
foot. C++ makes it harder, but when you do, you blow your whole leg
off.

Block out the big moves then go back the tweak the tweens. I'd start with just working with one figure and get it to look like you want.. then add the other figure.
Pose your figure and then move the number of frames your punch will take and create the pose at that frame. Just remember that the hip is where the motion starts and work from there.

Hello
Am still working on my animation. I would like to have two figures throw punches but I try to get them to throw a punch..it looks very static and just the arm move and nothing else..looks like slow motion robots. Any ideas? Thank you.
