Subject: Poser 7 Upgrade. Do I need Poser 6 installed my computer?

Just a quick question about upgrading to Poser 7 from Poser 6. Does anyone know if I have to have Poser 6 installed to be able to install Poser 7.

No. The upgrade is actually the full version of the program. It's called an "upgrade" because owners of earlier versions have historically been given a deep discount on the next version.

You will however need your Poser 6 serial number to qualify you for the upgrade price.  And when you download the SR updates for Poser 7 you will have to enter the Poser 7 serial number.

You may want to back up your runtimes before removing P6. It will delete anything you have there.
