Subject: open purchased models in poser 7

christian.haelbig ( ) posted Tue, 26 February 2008 at 4:09 AM · edited Tue, 11 February 2025 at 6:44 AM

Hi all

I´ve purchased and downloaded the modell Dorian from content paradise and putted the files into the runtime folder as described in the readMe file.
(light files in light folder, pose files in the pose folder and so on)
I use Poser 7 (im a poser-rookie, just started working with poser) and I don’t know how to open it. I cant find it in the library and cant find the cr.2 figure-object to open or import.

the simple question is - how can i open or import the new modell?
Thanks for help,

Chris

Did you extract the zip directly into your Runtime, or did you place the files by hand?

The cr2 must be in the Character folder, the obj file in the Geometry folder.

I've just take a look at the readme, and there is no cr2 in the package. It's a pose file that you have to apply to Michael3. You'll find it in the Pose library under Mor_Dorian. You'll find some INJ/REM morph files and under Mat_Dorian some MAT file.

ok, i see

i have  all the M3_INJ files, but how can i use them, do i have to generate a new  item in the libraries window of Poser?

The only thing you have to do, is to select M3 in your scene and double-click on the INJ file you want to use in the Pose library. And you're done :) The INJ will be injected into M3 and you should see the result.

The easiest way to install content that ships as zip files is to use the "Install from ZIP Archive" button in the Content room. If you download content from Content Pardise within the content room, it should even handle that automatically for you.

Load M3 first

I remember the day I gave up Poser 4 because the hair flew off Posette when I posed her, LOL!
