During a discussion at the DAZ Forum regarding a recent V4 project of mine, someone referred me to your Variable Pose script as a possible base from which to build. I tried out your script, and it worked like a charm! It's a significant step in the right direction for my project.
I was wondering if you'd be willing to join the effort and write an adapted version of your script that will help me acheive what I'm hoping for.
Basically, I'm envisioning a window with three scrollbars from 0 to 100. Each scrollbar determines the intensity of one of three INJ poses. The key difference between this and what you've already done is that the scaled value of each dial setting is not dialed in as it is but rather added to any pre-existing setting.
For example, if the INJ pose calls for a NoseWidth value of 0.3, the user dials in 50% for this INJ pose, and the figure already has a NoseWidth setting of 0.2, the new value will be 0.2+0.3*50% = 0.35
The three morphs basically combine to vary V4's age from about 6 or 7 years to adulthood. One morph controls the head-to-body and legs-to-body ratio (as well as adjustments to overall bulk to keep the figure looking natural), another controls how pubescent her physique is (i.e. breast size and hips-to-waist ratio), and the other controls how childlike her face looks. The morphs need to blend with pre-existing custom character settings instead of overwriting them to allow the juvenilization of custom characters instead of just a generic V4 child. Conversion of the INJ poses into three consolidated morph targets was considered, but it is not a good option for copyright reasons and due to the complications that would arise in clothes fitting.
Please visit the relevant thread in the Daz forum (http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=78819&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0) for more information. This will hopefully become a commercial package, so if you decide to help, I will be happy to share the profits if you so desire.
