You bought scenes!...wow,they must have looked great!
Better by far to experiment yourself. The best way to learn and most rewarding!
As you have realised these scenes and those we all create are limited regarding camera position. Some times creating a theatre-like set to be used many times is an excellent idea, but as with theatre the illusion only works when you are sat in the stalls!
If you need advice, just post to this forum, there are some very tallented and technically brilliant members who will help.
Cheers! jed.
**jedswindells: ** yes its like a movie illusion a set when you walk behind there nothing but braces holding up a carboard cutout.
dvlenk6: just some wonderfull outdoor scenes... that I thought I could add things like SpaceShips or Castles or humans or animals etc... but it turns out all they are good for is to load and render.
No big deal, the scenes were not that expensive to begin with.
So are these 2-D backdrops on an image plane, or are they just sets? (A room being 1/2 a room, as it's a stage scene). I could get being disappointed if it's not a full environment (if the scene was advertized as being that way), but DAZ tends to do a lot of stuff with poser-people... And most Poser users seem to be only interested in a backdrop for their nekkid vicky.
At least you said it wasn't too expensive. Live and learn.

There might be something worth downloading.
Sadly it´s not an easy task to create complete environments to allow for 360 camera movement. The biggest problem is that scenes like that easily become massive and then you still have to count with the fact that people will load extra stuff into them.
People with less powerfull machines would have serious issues working with the scenes at all.

I bought some ready made Outdoor Bryce Scenes from DAZ, which I was hoping to place objects in and do some renders, and also at the same time learn how to achieve such scenes.
It turns out that that you cant rotate the camera too much around these scenes as the effects are lost.. so basically they are more like 2D Pictures built inside a 3D world.
