Subject: Poser 7's Universal Pose method -- has anyone tried it?

jartz ( ) posted Mon, 18 February 2008 at 12:58 AM · edited Fri, 26 July 2024 at 5:02 AM

I bought P7 for the Universal poses alone, and I was wondering has anyone tried to used the Universal Pose say from a G2 figures for V4 for example.  I want to try to use V3's natural poses with V4 and haven't found anything significance with it.  I d/l the plug-in for V4 I think in order to use it.

Again, just wondering if anyone have tried it.

Thanks,

JB

I have used the Universal poses on M3

No issues.  Just be sure to first turn off the IK and then zero the figure before posing, or there will be some silly-looking results.

Thanks infinity10,  I'll give that a try.

I have some natural poses for v3 and was wanting to try it on V4, I'll give it a shot w/ the IK turned off.

Passing poses to figures they're not designed for tends to mangle the fingers and sometimes the toes.  A set of partial poses that zero hands/feet goes a long way towards making them more useful.

I have an animation using V3 and wondered if I could turn it into an Animation Sequence and apply that to V4.  Anyone tried that?  Any tips?
