theorizing that one could time travel within his own lifetime... er, i mean: theorizing that one could create a new ik chain in the p4 hierarchy window, consisting of, say, a right hand, a cane, and a left hand... i discovered, you cant seem to stick a prop in an ik chain. (parented to a body part or not :/ ) but okay, if your flamethrower/bagpipes/whatever are a second figure, and you could stick the second figure in the first figure's ik chain.... the figure on the right is the first figure, and i tossed the second figure's left hand, forearm, and shoulder into his right arm ik chain. i am at a loss to explain why that caused the second figure's arm to try to dislocate to the other side of his body, or why it smears around like plasticman. it looks as if the ik chain is trying to match the joint centers with the parent part, and so twisting them around? (turning the 2nd figure's arm ik on or off has no visible effect.) maybe it would work better with a completely new ik chain, starting lower on the arm? or maybe, if the flamethrower or cane or gun or other accessory were made a body part (ie: like a custom 'clothed' figure), it could work better? maybe not :/

How about making each part of Figure B a sub-part of each part of Figure A? RightCollar B under RightCollar A IK chain, then do the Shoulders, Forearm, etc. Just guessing, of course. I haven't touched that are of P4 yet. Newc
