Today it's a cityscape that I thought is very well done....especially the modeling and lighting of the scene....and yes, it's definitely worth a look!

You thought well done?!!?? YOU THOUGHT WELL DONE***??!!?? *** Honey, you need to adjust your thinking to I KNOW IT'S WELL DONE! No, it's not just well done, it's fabulously DONE!!! Superb render, worth of being on the cover of a sci fi magazine online or print along with the short stories that goes with them.

Well done vangogh for finding this image. I have been a fan of this artist (photostar) ever since his Terragen days and his changeover to Bryce has proved very successful. I urge people to check out the gallery of photostar as it's full of great space renders, wonderful landscape and excellent modelling work..

I had no idea this was here....thanks, much vangogh....and many thanks to all who have viewed, commented and favorited the image.  It's much appreciated.  One thing I should mention, please have a look at Tanglimara's render, as well....I emailed him the terrain map and told him to 'run with it' just to see what he could come up with.....it's really a fantastic render on the original cityscape and also worth a look and comment.

You two guys should join up and produce a sci fi novel together. Your rendering is literally out of this world!

yeah, but you gotta come up with a better story about the plants ! ! Perhaps humans migrated there from another planet somewhere deep in the western most spiral arm of the andromeda galaxy and the plants, native to the planet, grew acustomed to the periodic radiation over the milenia . . . or something like that .

Great render ! !

Great storyline idea, bikermouse...hadn't thought about that one.  Thanks for taking a look.

Photostar....yes, I have checked out Tanglimara's image which I stumbled upon yesterday while cruising the What New Galleries and really liked the atmosphere he gave it. He did some excellent 'running' with what you gave him. ThunderStone...."very well done" can be considered the highest praise and as close to gushing as I'll ever get. I've always been and will always be a laid-back low-key kind of person. In fact....before "very well done" my highest form of praise was "it's pretty good" and this phrase became the fuel of a running gag among people who knew me then who just loved to good nature kid me about it every time I said it. So....when I say "very well done"....I really am gushing all over the place-can't believe my eyes-humbled before a master-awestruck and speechless with admiration. Or something like that anyways.

I guess to each his own... but seriously, I was pulling your leg. I know what you mean, trying to keep it low key....

In fact, you could be this:
