Subject: Do 10 year old kids have wrinkles? Matt from Daz gets wrinkles when Face posed

I bought some Expressions here at renderosty . expressions for matt and maddie pack.  But most of the poses create wrinkles around the eyes... They are great expressions but matt looks like an old guy when he has one of those expressions.

Is this normal...i dont even look at 10 year olds much but i'm pretty sure their skin is smoother.

Also that matt is smaller than a 10 year old. Tht's why he is called  by Daz 3d the PRESCHOOLERS set matt and maddie.

Well, I judt asked my 3-year-old to screw her eyes up tight, and to give me a huge grin, and in both cases, small wrinkles did appear at the eyes - nothing too drastic, but they were there. It's not about smoothness of skin, but more about compression. When the muscles of the eyes contract, there's simply no room for all the skin that's normally there, and so it bunches up, and you get wrinkles. Sure, these are pronounced in older people because their skin is looser, and so bunches up more easily; but it heppens to all of us, young and old alike, in different measures.

As to the exact age of Matt, Maddie, Luke, Laura, and all the others, I have no idea. Is there anything over at DAZ to give you some guideline?

Your 3 year old's mesh is messed up.  She needs an upgrade.

He would have to have some wrinkles unless he got into your botox, LOL!

If you have poser 7, you can smooth those out with brush morphing.
