Subject: trans maps for 'torn clothing' effects?

MsPeril ( ) posted Sat, 15 March 2008 at 1:43 PM · edited Tue, 26 November 2024 at 3:48 AM

hi there - I'm working on a poser fight scene and have been trying to simulate torn clothing using trans maps. I've come across a couple of nice brush sets for photoshop which would work well, but none for paint shop pro (the graphics app I use). Anyway, I was wondering if anyone might be able to suggest a solution? (is there a way of converting brush types, or perhaps a set of layers somewhere that could be resized and pasted, or even a set of psp brushes somewhere...). I'd be very grateful for any suggestions! :)

Thanks in advance :)

Attached Link: thefixers Transmap Tut

Here's a link to thefixer tutorial..    Check your Im's for the psd version of some rips & tears brushes..

There were some sample brushes with the tut but they were for photoshop 7..
