Subject: Saving different render buffers?

Is there a way in Poser to save out different render buffers from within the program itself? i.e. save out the specular pass, the colour pass, the shadow pass, etc?

I seem to recall reading something about this on this forum, but I can't seem to find it.

Thanks in advance.

rjandron:

I believe what you want can be done, but probably not the way you might have thought.

RubiconDigital has a tutorial, "The 3D Cookbook: Multi-Pass Rendering" for $10.00 (USD). It turned out to be not at all what I wanted, but it sounds like it could explain what you want to do.

No, not exactly what I had in mind. The approach there is a "set up multiple scenes and render out multiple images." I was hoping for more of a "set up one scene and render out multiple images."

Thanks for the tip though.

Jon--Glow Worm looks very interesting. I'll have to take a closer look at it. Thanks.
