Subject: I Need A Podium

Hi everyone. I am trying to setup a Press Conference set but, I don't have a speaking podium. I have microphones, cameras, and telepromters galore but...no podium. What's a press conference without a podium? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi MacD., I'm finishing up a Prop/Pose set with a podium, microphone, table, chairs, waterglass, and pitcher(and maybe a few other things by the time I'm done). It will contain poses for Michael & Victoria interacting with the props. I know this doesn't help you right now, but I hope to be done in about a week. whwhitney

You don't want to use a soap box and tin horn? There is a preacher's pulpit (I think it was at Props Guild)and several microphones scattered through the forums, but if you can wait a week the one Whitney has going up there looks more like a comfortable perch for dignitaries addressing the press. I think that's a "lecturn" not a "podium"... But if it's really what you wanted, great.

That sounds great whitney, I'm definitly going to try and snag it when you finish it because from your sample pic, it looks awesome. Right now though, I don't have a weeks time since I need this picture done within the next day or two. I'll take a look at the Props Guild. Thanks again. Nice work.

Search Freestuff here for "lecturn"

Doozy, That is pretty decent. With a microphone coming up near the front and a few pieces of paper for notes, maybe even a glass of water, it should do nicely. He'll have to assemble the extra props, but he can get it done in time. Carolly
