I want to post this to the photography gallery. But I also want advice on what improvements I could make. Have at it good people. Bsteph

Heheh, what a great shot. :o) ...pic could be bit less pixelated, but I cant figure out any improvements, really, really good shot. Tight composition with sky forces the gaze to those machines, works really good. hmmm. maybe cut 10 pixels off from bottom? Dont know does it change anything, this is so well composed. .n

Bsteph I would have to agree with Antoonio, At first my eyes a re drawn to the tracks leading up to the machines then to the machines. If your focus is the machines I would crop some of the forground away. Just my opinion.

Take a photo tool and lighten the foreground. Then try darkening the foreground. Compare the results to see what you want. There are too many contrasting parts to that area. I would want the machines to be the complete focal point.

I agree. Especially with the pixelation. I did get the tracks taken care of though. However now the composition looks strange. How about this.

I like the first one more... Must be that contrast. But looking good still. .n

..:)..Since you added some bubbles to mine.. Im taking trees outta yours:)

bsteph2069 ( ) posted Fri, 15 June 2001 at 1:44 PM

Yes! Thanks!!!. I think it doe look much better without the distracting trees. I like the blur also. Gives me an idea to add dust behind the earthmoovers just to simulate that they are working. Bsteph

Adding dust would be cool, Bsteph. I see no people so giving them the effect of movement sounds cool!

Bsteph, I like the contrast on the first one - I like the composition too..... maybe that same pic, but yeah - without the trees?!? (",)
