heyas; i am looking for someone interested in texturing my barding pack i, with the type of etching and edging designs that are commonly seen on fancy armor. above is a cheap, quickie example, using a bump and texture (and reflection). abstract curlicue vine/leaf/flower things are fine. i would prefer someone who can make their own patterns, but i know that's asking a lot. if you think you can imitate fancy etchings with a font, please bear in mind it has to fit onto a template, and all-square stuff ain't gonna cut it. :) the templates are located here: http://www.3dmenagerie.com/storage/CHA-T.GIF http://www.3dmenagerie.com/storage/HA-T.GIF the job is 4 chest plates, 4 hip plates, 2 neck armor sets, and 4 chanfrons. oh, and a saddle that can use some fancy end-caps. it needs to be done in 4-7 days, and payment is one free copy of the barding pack i for the heavy horse. if you are interested, please email me with a short 'resume' of any qualifications you have, any samples of work you've done, and/or a test sample on one of the templates -- send it to sphynx@gis.net. thanks :)

Let me get this straight... You want someone to texture practically your entire barding pack so that you can sell it in the marketplace for profit, and your 'payment' for this is to give them one free copy of the pack itself? Wow, thats pretty generous. I think I'll pass though.

heyas; that's correct. it is not professional wage, and i'm not pretending it is.

What bothers me is that although you expect a professional wage for the product (by selling it at the marketplace) youre trying to get someone to texture it practically for free.

InBlack Because of Bloodsongs generosity Im sure someone will do the textures, I have all bloodsongs freebies and have always gotten help when needed just for asking. Sometimes you have to look at the bigger picture. Blood...If you havent found anyone yet email me , im sure I could come up with something.

I'll see what I can do Blood.. granted I'm not an artist but if it works... shrug hrmmmm... no rescaling... but maybe I can..

heyas; i understand, inblack. in fact, this might be a bit hypocritical, as i get on some people for trying to get professional artwork for cheap. perhaps i should retract the offer and just do the work myself. this is all i can currently afford to offer in payment.
