8-bit and 72 dpi for whatever pixel dimensions you are working with (1280x720, 1920x1080, etc.).
Setting it to 300 dpi doesn't do a thing - dpi doesn't mean squat until you are actually going out to print, so if it's just gonna be used in versions of computers (games, textures, screen wallpapers, etc.), leave it at 72dpi.

Hey guys, i have a project i have just been given that is intended for Playstation3 so therefore should be hi definition. Im just wondering how to set up my image. I have dimensions ok but what pixels and bit rate do i use.
