There is no spellchecker in the FCK editors on this site. If you're using Firefox, you've probably got a spellchecker plugin, or in IE7 something like the IE7Pro plugin features a spellchecker.
The thing about these FCK editors is they hijack the right-click functionality, so you can't get at the spellcheck options that should show up. Just Cut, Copy, Paste.

I don't usually use a browser helper or plugins..but I do have a very small free program on my pc called WordWeb which is a spell checker with lots of features. It's all I ever use anymore and I recommend it highly.

Ok it must be a function of firefox then. It isn't a plugin though, as the only FF plugin I have is adblock.
I just don't get why it works everywhere else but here then.

Yes, it's a feature of the newest versions of Mozilla-Firefox.
The reason it doesn't work here is because they don't have the reply box programmed to allow it. The only thing you can do in this reply box is cut, copy, and paste, and at one time you couldn't even do that. And you still can't unless you add an additional file.

Why is it that I get the red line under mis-spelt words here, but it is in effect useless as right clicking on them doesn't actually give you any fixes?
Why have the indicator if you don't give the fix?
