Subject: worn+corrupt/defect sneakers/boots?

hello,
I am looking for a pair of boots (ideally sneakers/running shoes, but all other kinds are very welcome) for use in poser.
they must not fit to any figure (but could), but must be worn, used, corrup, defect, with holes and the soles should be ablated (most ideal like in the world wide tramp-boots imagination at the front of the boots).

(I really hope, my bad english was good enough to explain my aim)

is there anywhere such a pair of boots for poser available (commercial or freebie)?

thank you

holger

YOu could probably use a transmap to get rid of some of the soles of a pair of shoes. then to dirty them up try olivier's dirty shaders at runtimedna Love esther

Transmaps aren't too bad. there is a good tutorial at daz. YOu could first try and make a pair of jeans into ripped or cut off shorts, and then you could try it on your shoes. click the materials tab in poser. (After u maake your black and white transmap and save it into your textures folder), little arrow top right on window for creating a node, - 2d node - image map plug your transmap into transparency edge and transparency falloff and dial each to one. it isn't hard. Please give it a try - you will see. Love esther i found this by Sean Martin:- You can create the transmap by opening the template in Photoshop, then create a new layer and fill it with black. Lower the layer's intensity to 50% so you can see the layer underneath, then paint white in only the areas of the catsuit you want visible. Make sure that for the outside edges, you extend the white beyond the edge (to make sure you get full coverage) but paint directly on the lines within the catsuit to delineate the point where you want the sleeves to stop. Take the layer intensity back up to 100%, which should completely hide the template. Flatten the image and save as leotardtrans.jpg. Then apply it as you would any transmap. IMPORTANT: remember that when you apply a transmap like this, the ENTIRE catsuit will seem to disappear. When you render, it'll be there

There's a good grubby texture for Apollo's boots on his download page. Scroll down close to the end of the page.
