Subject: OT: A musical render....

Some time ago I had mentioned that I had to leave to focus on music for awhile.A few folk wondered if I could share a bit of it sometime.

At this time, Sunday mornings are set aside for music although there's usually a Vue render going in the background. I try to at least form a framework of a new piece each week..not always successful. Don't know music, can't read a lick. But now jammin'....that's another story lol.

This piece is this Sunday's result.....a live looping session with a Godin 3voice guitar and a wind synth. The guitar, percussion and synthesizer are the Godin, and the flute toward the end is the WX5 wind controller. This is all layered through the Boss RC20XL looping pedal so there's nothing pre recorded here.

I Hope you find it interesting....

Hi Monsoon, I just listened to the music and I liked it very much.  I even wanted to save it but could not. (hehe) Very enjoyable.

Cool! Like it very much, Mark. There's only one thing I'm not too fond of here, it's the sound of the kick, it'sreally flat.
Thanks for posting it.

Lovely, it's the kind of stuff I like to listen to when I'm not in the mood for Whitesnake ;-)

Very nice! My, you are so talented!

I like it too, but there was some parts in there that didn't flow as smoothly, slight hesitations, and a hurried warble that kind of jarred my listening pleasure. Still, just the fact you can do this is truly spectactular!
Thanks for sharing

...Insert some witty or thought provoking comment here...

The hesitations result from the loop timing....if you stomp that pedal anytime other than right on the money....well, it's quite unforgiving. The rest...well I jarred myself as well lol...Thanks for the feedback. When I ever have a polished version I'll put it up.

And I've developed a wicked buzz somewhere along the signal chain.....too much black spaghetti I guess..:)

Quite interesting when you say it's a one step recording.
I made some music myself (www.jamendo.com/fr/artist/den_makes_music) and always interested to hear such experiences because I have a WX11. I like to watch EWI performances at YouTube, like with Michael Brecker. 3D and music are very big areas and take much time ;)
