Subject: Palette Problem in Photoshop CS

novelist999 ( ) posted Thu, 10 April 2008 at 7:18 PM · edited Fri, 20 September 2024 at 4:43 AM

I'm suddenly having a strange problem in Photoshop CS version 8.0.  Nothing is showing up in the palettes.  For example, layers won't show in the layers palette.  My actions aren't showing in the actions palette either.

Here's a snapshot to show you what I mean.  This image has multiple layers, but the palette
won't show them.  It does this with all images I've opened.  I've used this version of Photoshop for a while now, and I've never had this problem before. I've tried restarting my computer, but that didn't solve the problem.

Does anyone know what's causing this or have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Bobette Bryan

Hi Bobette, have you tried going to Window, Workspace and then clicking on Default Workspace or *Reset Palette Locations?

Coldrake,

I just tried it and it worked. Thanks so much!  I was lost without those layers and actions. :-)

They were minimized, next time just double click on palette and it will unfold :)

You can do same thing with toolbar :)
