HOLY CRAP!  I've seen Elephants paint abstract stuff for years, and was expecting the same here.

I almost fainted watching THIS Elephant paint!!!  WATCH THIS ^ VIDEO!  I haven't seen any of the higher primates (save Man) do what this Elephant does.

nice vid... there have been stories of elephants painting for years, one of the elephants at Calgary Zoo has been painting ofr a few years, and the sale of the paintings go towards upkeep.  for something really surreal, check out the book "Why Cats paint" and look at what our felines think about the world around them.

That's surely amazing...

Elefants are one of the animals who recognise themselves in a mirror, so they need to have a spatial imagination. They are very social and intelligent animals with a great memory.
