Two Kyles.

Two Kyle boot cut jeans.

Nothing else.

No difference in any morph settings, and all morphs are standard ones.

Only one has the points in the shins.

Delete it and put in a new one, and the same thing happens.

Delete the other one and reinstall it, and it comes in clean as that proverbial whistle.

Delete them both and try to reinstall a new pair altogether, and they attach with points to the second figure, without to the first.

Both Kyles are exactly the same, save for hair.

Huh???

The joint parameters of the pants need minor adjustment.  Use Joint Editor.

It is cross-talk that affects the jps of the second pants.  The pants probably have JPs that just barely fill the bill.  When a second pair of pants comes in, it just barely doesn't work.  I've run into it lots of times.  Just adjust the JPs with the Joint Parameter Window, and you're good to go.
