So...did anyone else besides me go for overnight shipping...hmmm? SMT ;)

I'd rather stay in my lane than lay in my stain!

Nope didn't, wasn't even possible from France to Holland. Not that I intended to pay 50% of the upgrade price to get the stuff a day sooner.

smallspace ( ) posted Fri, 15 June 2001 at 10:52 PM

Heh,heh...We'll see who gets their's first ;)

Please...when the mailman comes near, don't rush out to tackle him! Check to be sure the computer is turned on and running smoothly and that you have set aside plenty of MBs for the coming installation. Take deep breaths slowly and wait patiently until delivery is complete. Then you may proceed to tackle your mailbox! :)

smallspace ( ) posted Fri, 15 June 2001 at 11:11 PM

Not even waiting for the mailman. I'm having it delivered to work!

I'd rather stay in my lane than lay in my stain!

I wish I could afford the quicker shipping. Actually, does anybody know if these CDs are being shipped from the USA or from Europe?

MikeJ ( ) posted Sat, 16 June 2001 at 4:08 AM

I think they're being shipped from both USA and Europe, depending on where you order from. I haven't ordered mine yet, but I'll probably be doing so next Thursday and going for the overnight delivery so I can have it all next weekend to play with. I wish I could take the following week off from work, but that doesn't look possible. :/ Anyhow, definitely looking forward to it!!!

We went overnight shopping too, yes we will be getting Vue 4. We will have lots to learn, this is our first Vue, we will be asking lots of questions, but with you kind folks nearby we are sure you will help us. We are very anxious. Mike and Sharen SAM'S3D

Hi Mike and Sharen, That's great to hear! And certainly feel free to ask whatever you'd like. Of course also we have alot of tutorials here in the tutorials section. For Vue 2 and 3 that is, but I'm sure at least Guitta will have some Vue 4 tutorials out shortly after it's release. :) -Mike

I'm going for 3 day. Getting it overnight won't do me much good since I'm in the middle of remodeling my kitchen (doing the work myself) :( Rich

KateTheShrew ( ) posted Sat, 16 June 2001 at 12:14 PM

Ok, I admit it. I opted for overnight, too. My projects are waiting!! Kate the impatient

jarm ( ) posted Sat, 16 June 2001 at 1:02 PM

Okay, when you all get it, don't post anything, don't put any images up nothing, I couldn't bear knowing other people have it while still waiting for my copy.

SAMS3D ( ) posted Sat, 16 June 2001 at 4:18 PM

It is such an adventure to get new software, so much exploration that needs to be done. Can't believe when we have felt this anxious over software. We really need to get a life, anyways, we can't wait to see what you all are going to come up with. We just love looking at others work. We will post something for you to look at but we are quite sure it will not be as spectacular as what some of you have shown us. We will need much practice. But that is where we have time, (we hope). Get a life? Life? Oh yes! That's what I should do for my next image -- a still life! :D

smallspace ( ) posted Sat, 16 June 2001 at 6:03 PM

For the still living...of course! :) -SMT

Still living, still art-making. :)

smallspace ( ) posted Sat, 16 June 2001 at 6:41 PM

...Now if only Art would just sit still for a moment...

Varian ( ) posted Sat, 16 June 2001 at 11:05 PM

Every time I try to paint Art, he says the brushes tickle. ;>

Ok, ok! You win :) LOL!

(Has anyone warned Sharen and Mike that hanging around this place, the craziness is contagious?) :)

MikeJ ( ) posted Sun, 17 June 2001 at 11:35 AM

I've noticed we all seem to have mellowed out just a little as of late. I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm just trying to stay calm as I await

RELEASE DAY, ..... if you know what I mean, and I bet you do. :)
