THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: Cargo Bay Modelling - Mini Tut - Cargo Lift

Especially for those follwing my Cargo Bay Model: and because you all asked so nicely - i'm afraid there no tricks or gimmicks. I'm old school so my modelling is old school, but if it will help heres the breakdown...

As the tag line goes; "its all Booleans, as far as the eye can see" or "my god is full of booleans" or.....

Experience is no substitute for blind faith.

Thanks, very concise and it helps with the screenshots.
I know it's a lot of work but maybe we can persuade you and you could find enough generosity and time to make a series on modelling just for this subject and this specific subject matter, even for sale.
I know I would like a step-by-step explanation since I seem to be too dense to figure out the process when I try any modelling on my own! I'm positive it would be very appreciated by others in my situation. Any thoughts?

Thanks again.

Ok I get the rinse and repeat LOL.
Wish I had the patience, because this is excellent!
Thanks so much for the how-to.

Excellent rj!  I love what you're doing with the textures as well, as shown in the last wip!

thanks guys, the +ve feedback is really good to get.
i'm taking a break from this model for a while, insanity is creeping in.
the whole concept is for a ship interiors set - i have this cargo bay, and i have a cockpit from a while back, which with some mods i can use, i just need to think of something in the middle.

Where's the 'Prince of Booleans', the Cardinal in this thread...you'd think he'd be all over it...LOL...well done...inspiring and if I had Bryce working I'd give er a try me own self...maybe this week I'll figger it out.. ...

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound
The Sun comes up again

Do you not do the "collapse/export/import" at any point?

by the shade it casts.
