Subject: Having problems re-installing Bryce with the forced D/S upgrade!!!

I have the new Bryce 6.1, and I am having real issues installing it with that darn D/S upgrade (*the last one just out) Anyone else having problems??? It keep crashing and saying it needs to have D/S installed?! What's up with that!???

GRRRRRRRRR!!!!!! Why can't Bryce be freestanding!?

Have you contacted DAZ technical support for that? They will probably know how to counteract that.

No I had thought that someone here might know what was up. All I know is you have to have D/S installed to use Bryce and that the new version isn't playing nice. I will contact them today.

did you install Daz first, then Bryce? I dunno...I use D|S about every 8-9 months or so...so I'm hardly a reliable source..;)

Well I found out that the new DS is a bitch to work with and if it is on the computer before you try to install bryce it can cause issues with your graphics card too!!!   So anyway I talked to Daz, and they said to uninstall DS, then install bryce and let it auto install DS 1.5 or 1.8...who knows.
I just think it is a crime that bryce is not a stand alone without needing DS to function!

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!

wasn't really that way until Daz took over...;)
2.0 was buggy, 2.1 is out now. Not sure how it interacts with Bryce, but it's a thought...

If you install Bryce first there should be no problem, well at least there wasn't for me.

Hi I am trying to get all this done. I opened a store at zazzle and I have been sort of busy there. I hope to get to this quickly.
