I use this one. I absolutely love it.

You can pick and choose addons to download to enhance the browser too. I love "Tabbed" browsing, Session Saver, Translate Page, Open Link In, and IE View

Agreed. Firefox is the best. It hammers all the nails, and gets revised
quickly when any new type of nail pops out of the woodwork.
It's the only browser that handles Oriental character sets (CN, JP, KR) properly.

I switched to Mozilla Firefox a few months ago, and like it a lot.
I would also highly recommend the "NoScript" add-on for Firefox. After years of relatively safe surfing, relying on my AV and Firewall to protect me, I was starting to get a lot of viruses. Since installing Firefox, with the NoScript add-on, I haven't had one virus.

I didn't know about the "no script" extension. Thanks. I'll give it a try.
EDIT: Ok that didn't last long! I uninstalled it. I didn't like that yellow bar that was always showing across the bottom of my screen telling me that a script was blocked, even after I gave it permission to allow renderosity.com

You can turn that off on the Notifications tab of the Options (for NoScript).
The best feature of the recent versions is that you can blacklist certain domains (e.g. googleanalytics.com) so that they don't get in the way on the popup menu.
Quote - don't unistall the browser, just uninstall the add-on. I don't use it (probably should...;) but Firefox works just fine without it.
Oh, Firefox is still on my computer. It's just that no script addon that I deleted.

FireFox is so far above and beyond MS IE. They (FireFox) was the first to have tab browsing, it plays nice with 98% of all firewalls (so reason MS firewall did not like FireFox), plus it is easier to add and remove addons. I have been using it strictly at home for about 3 years now. The only time I open IE is for Daz readme's and some websites that cannot for some reason be viewed correctly with FireFox.

Not even with IE Tab, nyguy?
I've had Firefox for a couple of years now, and any page that wouldn't display right was either not important enough to bother with, or worked properly once I switched to IE Tab rendering.

I was wondering what's a good alternative to Internet Explorer? Mozilla or is there a better?
One word: Firefox.
It's 'universal' (I can use it on any OS I commonly have), and I can use free add-on Extensions to do things like block/replace ads on a webpage entirely ("adblock"), detect and block malicious (or crap) cross-site scripting attempts ("firekeeper"), and a shedload of other really nice-to-have things. When someone's crap scripting on a website crashes the browser, "Restore Session" is a godsend. The same crash on IE usually leaves you SOL.
To top all that off, it's a whole order of magnitude safer than Internet Explorer to use, because it's not all integrated into the core of Windows (meaning that it's nearly impossible to get bitten just by visiting a malicious webscript now).

Too this day still cannot figure out why 1 or 2 sites I visit, not so frequently I cannot use firefox, even with IE Tab. Was suggested that they (sites) have a custom script that will allow viewing with only IE. Heck one of the sites I even tried tinybrowser and still could not view it.

I've been an Opera fan for a lot of years. I think it was the first browser to have tabs. My favorite feature is the Wand, which lets you save log-in info so that you can log-in with a button click. You also have a lot of cookie control -- I can save or discard cookies on closing the browser, depending on the site. It's very customizable.
oh thats coool... ive been using firefox since v1.somthing... and i didnt know about the
sessions manager ..... i got it from here:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2324
works really cool cheers for that !! :)
im also using 'download helper' which used to let me get youtube vids doesnt work anymore
and adblock plus... soo i very rarely get any pop-ups...
all is good :)
Don't install the Beta 3 for Firefox! allot of issues with not keeping your sessions alive.

Firefox user here.
I kicked IE as soon as I heard of Firefox some years ago.
Lot of fun and useful adons for FF, but most importand reason is that FF is more save security wise than IE.
I also use Thunderbird for my e-mail.
Less trouble and more secure to use than Outlook.
Thunderbird is also from Mozila.
I am not a complete idiot, some
parts are missing :)
