hi everyone... does anyone know of a place where i can get free stock photos.. specially of food... i didnt realized how expensive stock photos are... or even some kind of software that comes with alot of professional fotos (specially of foods).. thank you

thanks.... i will check them out.. i found one that is free and has decent pics..    photobucket.com if anybody else has a different one for free pics please post it..

Each artist has their own terms of use over there so you got to make sure you read them before using their photos.

Here's a link to a portal site to ALL kinds of stock photo sites -- free, cheap, and commercial, etc. They also have links to font sites.

Wow, Bluevertigo.com is pretty impressive.  More than photos.  Will take some time to go through all those links.  Thanks for posting that.  By the way, I forgot to mention Dreamstime.com is one of the inexpensive stock photo sites I use.

Also, even though it is a total crapshoot, a number of magazines ship with CDs of content including stock images you can use for free.

Check out Advanced Photoshop, DIGIT, ImagineFX, 3D World, etc. Go to the newsstand and flip through the visual-creative type mags, and a number of them will have CDs that also include stock images.

But read the terms before using. Most will allow free use only for personal work, not commercial.
