Subject: New Spelljammer models on my site :)

added two Spelljammer ships in Vue and .obj format (note it's fan art, so not putting in 'Rosity downloads area). Models are UV mapped so any materials should apply well.
If you need to make textures, just export UVMaps from UVMapper and make yer own ;)

Please don't download the models if yer not gonna use 'em: Hammership Vue version is 40 megs in size...i.e. don't hammer my server without cause, ya know? :)

Smalljammer
The Vue version has textures

HAMMERSHIP
Only textures on wings on Vue version, sorry, too many materials, textures etc, but it does have placeholder materials neatly assigned, so it's easy to load up a mat into say, "ram" or "hull".
OBJ version just has placeholder materials.

if you use them, let me know, liek to see what ya make :)

Note they have HUGE poly counts, high detail, including internals, especially on the Hammership which has over a million polys...hey, filleted edges make renders better, but they eat polygons for breakfast, lol)

Spelljammer = fantasy space setting for Dungeons and Dragons, came out more than 20 years ago, but I'm a huge fan, so, building the ships in Rhino ;)

Love the Hammer Ship!
Reminds me of the song 'Hammerhead Shark' by David Lee Roth.

Pretty neat! . . . looks like you spent some time on them !!

Bikermouse,
yup, I do ;)
Some folk are Star Wars modelling nuts, others Star Trek, with me, it's Spelljammer :p
But I'm one of the very few folk who do Spelljammer.
So, my goal is to get folk to appreciate the idea and beauty of fantasy space, rather than sci-fi space ;)
