Does this work with your Rope props or does it come with ropes, ot works with any rope prop, is it like a Python script??

It's a stand alone application, you only need Windows, sorry for Mac users.
You create the rope and export it as obj file or as Poser prop pp2.

One question: do users see changes to the rope as the parameters are altered... in real time?

Yes, the left side is the real time rendering, you can rotate and spin the model too.
It is in the same style as the "PropViewer" and "ArcMaker".
The newest thing that I add is it creates a thumb of the rendering window if you export as Poser prop. The thumb is created in rsr format for compability with Poser4 (poser 5/6/7 converts in an automatic way rsr thumbs to png thumbs)
As for making the thumbs I did a resising routine, within some days I shall include this routine in the Png2Rsr converter (freebies), so it will be able to convert png thumbs that are not 91x91 pixels.

Any chance of making a.... Wire/Cable/Tube Maker..?

I know that the Easipose system exists, but I find it very touchy. Provided you use the dials its fine, but touch the figure and it screws into a ball of string.

Would there be any way to make a proggie where one could import... "markers" (critical points from within a Poser scene).. for example small double sided planes which could be angled as required within Poser first... then draw/drag a line between the markers... then select level of detail, etc., press a button and... Viola... a nice neat wire/cable  whatever, which could then be imported back into Poser as a prop.

Whenever I need cables and tubes, I use a similar method, but use a modelling program. It would be nice to have a small/quick proggie dedicated to the task.

Making a pipe or tube from a path curve is not difficylt, but how do you create the path curve?
It requires some user interface that I cannot imagine how can it be and if the path is in 3d and not in a plane it is worst.
In Rhino you can do it, but is a nightmare to draw the path curve of what you want, at least for me.

Currently, I use Cararra to make any custom wires/tubes I need.

I use the Interpolated Curve tool to draw the path I need in the 3 planes... then drag the key points about to fine tune the path... and path sweep a circle along the curve.

The screenshots are not very elegant... just to give an indication of what I mean and took about 30 seconds.

With more time and a little patience it is possible to get whatever path/shape I need.

I place markers within my Poser scene at the main points where I need the wire/tube to go... then export them into Cararra... then draw the Interpolated Curve between those markers. Having done the path sweep I then export back into Poser as an obj file.

The advantage over the standard Easipose tube is that I can make cables, etc., to any length I need and to an exact path. Although it means making the prop outside of Poser... it is probably quicker than trying to pose an Easipose tube within Poser.

I was just wondering if it would be possible to make a dedicated proggie like your Rope Maker for people without a suitable modelling program to use.

Another problem with cables is that normal cables are almost straight, but for making imahes with cables it must have a lot of loops and look as a mess!!!!
