Looking at the pz2 file in EditPad, the way Darcy is set up is actually geared to V4.1 so should have no problems loading her with V4.1. Also, there is nothing in the !!DarcyBodyINJ.pz2 or the !!DarcyFaceINJ.pz2 that searches for that file (23-ps_pe069_DAZ_Chnnls.pz3), are you sure it is Darcy & not something else you installed?

Ok just tried her on my new computer which has V4.2 installed, no probs. Also tried her on my old computer that just has V4.1 installed, also no problems.
So sorry, have no other suggestions.

I have found a similar named file on my systems, but the file name is '23-ps_pe069_DAZ_Chnnls.pz2' i.e. pz2 not pz3.
In both systems the file is located in Runtime>Libraries>!DAZ>Victoria 4>rThumb2

a place to look ...
the part "ps_pe069" refers to the DAZ store number of the morph set it goes to. In this case something in the v4.2 base
this reference "23-ps_pe069_DAZ_Chnnls" belongs to the right thumb section of the morph data storage ... opening the file in wordpad I find only the channel info for the v4male morph (which you shouldn't have with v4.1 if I'm not mistaken). Your copy of this file will probably be blank.
So for some reason your cr2 is trying to reference the channel information for that one part and not finding it. At a guess running the Update V4 bat file should do the trick and recreate the missing file. If not, reinstall v4 and update her. This shouldn't upset anything else you have installed, its just a simple file refresh to fix a missing part.
Good luck!

Okay. Now I'm understanding...
I didn't use V4.1 base cr2 since a lot of time because I use Poser (over all) for my 3D comics, and I ALWAYS was using stored characters previously saved
Some months ago 'someone' uploaded a freebie as a pz3 scene which IMHO had a big mistake: it had included V4.2 cr2, not a simple morph. Because I haven't V4.2 installed, but suddenly the character stored in the scene included the V4.2 male morphs !!! Weird...
Maybe since I opened that pz3 scene the V4.2 included in it added some wrong information in my files. V4 loads, V4 base loads, V4 to V3 loads, V4.1 crashes with that 23-ps_pe069_DAZ_Chnnls mistake...
I think I could use any stored scene with my V4.1 saved (all that scenes load without a bug) and restore the V4.1 cr2 from it. Better than reinstalling my V4.1 (I don't know where I saved the installed in my 'POSER STUFF' collection of DVDs... I could search it but it will be a pain)
Sorry for my Yoda Master english, Padawan Young My...

... so surely that poor Darcy girl has no fault about this mess...

Hi folks
I downloaded DAZ3D weekly freebie, Darzy for V4. The product page says it's a producto for V4.2 but silly me, I thought it would works in my V4.1
Since I installed it, I can't load my V4.1!! Poser7 hungs with a window trying to allocate the file 23-ps_pe069_DAZ_Chnnls.pz3. Some hours ago I used V4.1 without a problem, so the last installation did this mistake. I uninstalled Darcy but the bug remains. I suppose I need to re-install my V4.1 again
If I hated V4.2 due she crashed my computer the first time I tried her, now... oh, boy...
