Please give a big round of applause to Danny "danob" O Byrne for being selected as the May 2008 Gallery of the Month. This is a well deserved honor for Dan. His wild life photography has inspired many other photographer. Dan has also served in the past as both a Coordinator and Moderator..On behalf of the staff I'd like to thank him for his contributions to this community...

Thanks so much for this honour.. I must say my first thoughts were GOM should be changed into an anagram for OMG !!     Needless to say this award is as much for all the members here who make the place what it is, I have enjoyed being a part of that over the 6 years I have been active here..

Your landscapes and sky-scapes are fantastic, and also the bird in flight shots.

I am really happy for you Danny, your extraordinary photography compares to no-one's here, and your sense of friendship makes it even more precious to me . The only 'sad' thing is that  you haven't yet envisaged  publishing your top-notch photographs. I'd be only too glad to buy your photo-album... Congratulations!

Your gallery is always fascinating because, whatever the subject, you always add a personal spice to it.
Yet I do confess that I haven't seen all 20+ pages of works in it... (being all too often on a slow Internet connection...)
