I've searched high and low for this - how do you make a mat pose for Poser to Hide feet or another body part ?

Thanks in advance !

If you have xp, I still use mat pose edit.

You load everything, set the visibility option to off on the parts you want hidden, and then delete everything else you see except those parts, and save.

I don't know if this is quite what you're lookng for, because I used this on props that don't have body parts.  I wanted to be able to hide the propeller blades and landing gear with MAT poses to make "flying" poses for the aircraft on my new carrier.  I made sure they had the materials set for it, and just made the parts invisible in the materials room.  Saved the materials collections and then modified the headers to make them work as MAT poses.

There's probably a way to do it with the "hide" function, but I haven't tried that.  If not, then this could be a good workaround.

Ahhh ok, I actually use quickmat which is almost the same but less of a headache lol - so you just make it like a regular mat then huh

Well, there is a option in poser to hide or show a body group. I'm not sure if quickmat can do that.

If it can, yer good to go.

Actually I got it by looking at the pose in another hide body part mat by examining it in Notepad- wrote my own and works like a charm ! Don't know why I didnt think of that before !

LOL for your time tho !

Attached Link: Goodies - Poses

I have some free poses at my site which hide and show the arms/ hands/ fingers and feet/ toes. These poses should work on any figure with standard Poser body part names, but they don't work on the Poser 6 figures because they have two toe parts instead of one... just use the "Poser 6" version instead. :) [JCH Digital Designs - Goodies Page (Poses)](http://www.cocs.com/poser/goodies.htm#handsonoff)
