Beautiful stil-life Tara. :)

I'm sure this isn't what you had in mind James, heaven knows my original ambitions for this shot were certainly different (!) but I looked and looked and never saw anything like what I was hoping to get.  So.  Here's a painted truck (lorry).

At one point I thought maybe I would see a truck all painted with well-drilling information, and therefore it would be a WELL-painted truck.  Unfortunately, that didn't pan out, either!

I'm flying out to see Jill (JillianElf) on Thursday, so ...

Show me an airplane!

This dune is on Pasque Isle, Lake Erie.

Below me is a bit of morning dew

So where do they go when a photograph leaves you speechless?

I hope I'm doing this right - I'm a bit of a newbie at this - so apologies in advance if my picture doesn't show!!

I'm cheating a bit here, this was actually after some rain, but it's identical to morning dew, I think anyway!
This is my first time here - I've spent a wonderful, relaxing afternoon browsing through this forum and just couldn't resist taking the plunge!

Let's see....
Below me is a row (or pile) of interesting books :-)

nongo ( ) posted Sun, 18 May 2008 at 7:54 AM

Yes, anyone can play, you just have to have the request from the last image and then ask for a new one... it is lots of fun, but sometimes we get stumped with the photo? LOL!!!  do you have a photo of an ugly souvenier??

Eutopia ( ) posted Sun, 18 May 2008 at 7:57 AM

Argh!!  I'm so frustrated - I've got the perfect ugly souvenier - a half melted plastic pelican toy - I kept it after our house almost got burned down by a bush fire.  The only problem is- it's packed in a box SOMEWHERE!  That's what happens when half one's life is packed away in boxes!!

Oh well - we'll just have to wait and see if anyone else has got one? :-)

helanker ( ) posted Sun, 18 May 2008 at 8:51 AM

LOL!!!  Eutopia. :)))

tizjezzme, Only if you have an ugly Souvenier. ;-)  Noooo!!! Just kidding :)))
But ut is the next supject :)))

COME OOONNN!!!!-------- somebody MUST have an ugly souvenier !!!!!

Show me some pancakes(flapjacks) and syrup.

helanker ( ) posted Sun, 18 May 2008 at 9:24 AM

OH MY! It is indeed an ugly souvenier.  Nice needlework though :)))

auntietk ( ) posted Sun, 18 May 2008 at 10:05 AM

Yikes!  No wonder you don't hike around!

No pancakes and syrup here, but I bet someone will have that one covered PDQ!  :)

auntietk ( ) posted Mon, 02 June 2008 at 12:33 AM

Oh thank you!  I forgot I'd asked for a wheat field.  I've seen so many here on RR, it never dawned on me it would be a tough request!  I have no ice cream cones, though.

I was up in Oak Harbor today with Denise (MrsRatbag) and Marilyn (Beachzz) and saw this sign in a shop window.  I was so excited to see it!  They waited patiently, of course, while I fired off a couple of shots.  It's good to hang out with other photographers.

I would like to see something Greek!

Opps, I forgot to tell you what I wanted to see... So I thought I'd post another pic of ancient greek pottery :) And tell you it's from the Getty Villa -an AWEsome place to visit-  in LA.

And now I'd like to see your motherboard / the inside of your computer / some other technology from a unique perspective... Hope somebody has something. :)

Dang.  I just saw a windmill yesterday - it was right down the street from the polka-dot sign (!) and I didn't take a picture.  Dang.  No windmills from me!
