I didn't bother installing the V4.2 update.  But I've been seeing a number of cute character morphs for Aiko 4.

Can Aiko 4 be used with V4.1 or would I have to update Victoria to 4.2?

Hi.. No I don't think she will work on V4.1... It's the updated V4.2 that came with Aiko 4... It's not much work to re-install V4.1.. Just reset your download for V4 and morph package, then you install as you did with V4.1.. Mariann.

I think yes. Some says ago someone uploaded a V4 freebie with a pz3 scene. V4 appeared inside with a nice texture and lights... and the three male morphs completely working (I have V4.1)

I suppose if anyone exports a scene with V4.2 and A4 morphs injected in her, a V4.1 owner could open it and A4 would work too

I think Vic 4.2 is the only one that works with Aiko 4 because V4.2 uses injected morphs while
V4 and V4.1 don't. I could be wrong, but that is what I read on the DAZ site when she first came
out.

Ok, well I think I'll pass then.  I don't like the idea of having to inject figure morphs before injecting character morphs. Why they went backwards like that is beyond me!

This way, no need to inject the morphs before to use the character morphs! All will works like before.

Acadia - You only need to inject the V4.2 morphs the once. Just save her into your Figure library.

That explains a lot...now I just have to dig in the couch for the change to purchase A4.

I made it work with Victoria 4. The Vicky4.2/Aiko4 morphs are compatible with Vicky 4.1/4.0, the problem is to inject them.
There exist inside !DAZ folder somewhere inside "deltas"  folder an AikoBody injection pose, but the problem is that Vicky4 has no Aiko channels inside and inside the AikoBody injection pose there is no master control and all the morphs are hidden.
I solved the problem editing my Vicky4 character adding an empty Aiko channel to all body parts and then edited the injection pose adding control information, unhidding the morphs and deleting the only one readscript inside.
Now it works fine, when I want Aiko it's only click the AikoBody pose and all is done.
Other more simple solution is to use some body morph from your figure that you don't use, for example "Buk".
What you need to do is to replace in the injection pose
all the targetGeom FBMA4AikoBody with targetGeom FBMBulk
replace valueParm FBMA4AikoBody with valueParm FBMBulk
delete the line with readscript. and put the this injeection pose somewhere in the pose folder.
Then apply this pose and the Bulk morph turns into rhe Aiko morph.
As I had no Bulk morph, I had removed it a long time ago I had to do all the edition.
You can do the same with all the morphs, it's a hard workm but once done the poses are very easy to use specially in my case where my Vicky4 character has only 9MB and not 100MB with all the morphs that I never use.
