Subject: Braided hair with bangs and volume

One product I would like to see is a braided hair set like that sported by Lara Croft in the game "Tomb Raider: Anniversary", as can be seen here:

http://www.tombraiderchronicles.com/artwork/legacy_61.html

There are several similar hair sets available (Aprilysh, FKdesigns, Ali), which while being great products still leave some room for improvement in my opinion.

Think of it as something of a mix between Aprilysh's Vayne braid hair (daz) in terms of a braid but with the braid starting closer to the neck than the top of the head. Also, with bangs like FKdesign's Deja VU hair (3dcommune) albeit shorter and with more volume.

The hair covering the head has some volume to it as well, more than just a skull cap, as though the hair isn't pulled completely tight against the head before someone started weaving the braid. In other words, if you took out the braided tail and bangs, you would still have a viable hair set. This feature, more than any other in my opinion would do well to differentiate this proposed hair set from any other.

This would be a great product for adventure, fantasy and general type renders, would be a great accessory to existing fantasy and adventure outfits and I think would sell well.

One useful feature might be to create the braid as a separate figure that conforms to the main head of hair, allowing people to easily hide the braid if unwanted (perhaps leaving a small bun behind), as well as allowing people to add two or more braids as desired.

Making the bangs as separate body parts, allowing them to be made invisible and/or affected by wind forces would also be a useful feature. Using an EZPose setup on the braid might also be a good way to go.

Does this look like something anyone would be willing to make/market/buy?

The strong do as they can while the weak do as they must.

Have you looked at Ktaylor's hairstyles?

Like this one, for instance.......

Not bad, and I've used her stuff before, though it's not quite what I'm looking for. Something like this, with a braided pony tail:

Try this:

There are several braided hair options available.

Personally, I have not tried them yet, as there aren't many available texture sets for them

Ah yes, Ali's stuff is great but is slightly off from what I'm looking for, as I'm looking for bangs that are more full and a hair cap that isn't so tight around the head. Perhaps I'm being too picky...
