Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound
The Sun comes up again

Attached Link: Joe's Homepage

That's a Joe Vinton (Orbital) image....(searching...searching...)... http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1430990&member "Places You've Never Been..." (or at least a variation of the image)

Don't recall him posting a tute, though.   ?Maybe in one of the 3D mags??

Then, later, there's ...running. And....screaming."

"Orbital" is one of the best artists of the world.

Quote - "Orbital" is one of the best artists of the world.

if you ask him nicely and give him some cookies i'm sure he wouldn't mind whiping up a quick tut for you..be warned though he may throw in the tut that you will need to place a hotair balloon in the image(his secret trait) look at his images and you will see what i mean..

I have opinions of my own -- strong opinions -- but I don't always agree with them.

Sorry just came across this post, I'm not ignoring you lol! I haven't ever done a tutorial for this piece of work. It's quite an old piece now, so I wouldn't be able to produce one either. It would be too hard to try and remember the process involved.
Sorry
Joe

Joe does have an excellent tutorial at the DAZ store on his Cloud City image:

Not nearly the same but I thought I'd mention it.
