Thanks guys. If you know of any discussions in the forums that might merit a "morphing" into a tut of sorts please let us know. There is a huge amount of info that is exchanged in the forums but is often lost in the "background noise".

I have set up a function on the BryceBlog to allow you to subscribe to a notification service that will e-mail you when there is a new post on BryceBlog. It is as secure as I can make it without making it counter-intuitive. The e-mail database is stored behind a firewall and only one person - the administrator has access to the e-mail addresses, and he (me) is so paranoid about spam that he would sooner have his nipples burnt off with a blowtorch than let anyone at that list!
The link is at the top of the main BryceBlog page. You can subscribe to the service and an confirming e-mail will be sent that you can then confirm and set up what notifications you want to receive.
I find it handy on other blogs because I often forget to bookmark or get out of the habit of checking my favourite blogs regularly!

There was a very interesting question on the DAZ-3D [ BryceTalk forum](http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=85504&sid=e5194c32ad94b729acbaedcdfeb016ef) recently about achieving a curved horizon in Bryce. (Bryce's world is simply a flat plane going off in all directions to infinity) Horo's suggestion about using Bryce optics got me thinking and experimenting. This [mini-tutorial](http://bryceblog.bryce-alive.org/?p=54) on BryceBlog shows what I learned in the process and it is true that "Bryce can do everything"...just a bit of creative thinking needed!Credit to Horo for the original idea...
