To to reasons I am not going into but I am no longer going to be active on the site. I have pulled all links to my freebies and will be just lurking. I also feel this issue could have been avoided if a certain member could have been more tactful when criticizing some of my work. I have my own site that needs more attention than posting here.

I wouldn`t let one person make me leave the site, either, and removing your downloads wont affect that person but it will affect everyone else.

It was just not one member but a few that have gotten me upset and one from here (so she/he saids but too chicken to give his/her name here ) has harassed me on my site. As for my freebies they are still up and will continue to be up my site.

That is the other reason I am going to spend less time here. I need to work on my site and get it to be the site I want it to be.

nyguy - Don't take it to heart what people say. I used to get touchy with people, I no longer allow it because you are giving them power. Don't let them. There are more good people here than bad ones.

As for the flogging, yeah, I'll let myself be flogged. Maybe it's some sort of fetish of mine that needs to be released! :blushing:

I have looked at nyguy's post and I cannot see a big sign. I have moved my pointer over the post and cannot see any links, other than to your home page here. So I had to ask.

So as far as it looks from my side there is not anything to figure out.
also if you are going to take every post that you maybe unsure (I really dont see any thing I have said as an attack) about as an attack on you and insult that person. Then maybe you should take some time out.

ny, my apologies for any negativity you experienced.  let the admins know if
there are any grounds for filing a complaint about cyberbullying, as I know they're
opposed to that (it's a TOS violation).

A lot of ad-blocking software uses certain attributes of images and page elements to block ads. One of those attributes is to look for images that are the size of typical ad banners, and since NYGuy's banner is that size, the ad-blocker thinks it's just another web ad, and has blocked it. Since LostinSpaceman's dragons are odd sizes, the ad-blocker doesn't think they're ads.

nyguy, sorry that some people can't seem to give any kind of input, responses or helpfull criticism (which ever the case may be) with out being vindictive, cruel or simply just type before they think. However the choice is yours and will be respected. Good luck on your site ( i've already added it to my favorites as freebies are always welcome. :D )

They're actually working on it being against the law here in Missouri because of  the infamous MySpace Suicide case.

There are always arsholes in this world, but you have let them win,ok it is up to you to move yours products,and no one should be judged for their work,if you like your work someone else will too, and someone else wont, it happens to all of us. I hope you continue to create as stopping would be the biggest loss.

Hopefully,  he doesn't know how to do hell fire effects in Poser.

nyguy: I don't know very much, but I know the nature of everything in this world is that -- no matter what you say, think or do (or even don't for that matter)  -- you are going to take some shots, and some of them are going to be mean as hell and way too personal. And -- though I am the first to admit it is sometimes a very tall order -- to the exact extent you stay cool and keep right on doing your thing and let it all slide off, you are going to be ahead of the game.

I have been lurking in  these forums since it was the "Poser forum online" and there was only 142 members.    The one thing I can say is, most of the negative feedback i see tossed seems to be comming from people who can't do good work.    Just keep that in mind, because  depending on the comment, it may accualy be a  compliment if you think about it.  look at there work and see if it hold merit, if it doesn't then just laph it off.  I know allot of great aspiering artist that have been a great addition to the community who eventialy disapear because of others who really didn't know there head from there assets.

No matter what you deside, just remember your art work is for your plesure and not anyone elses so enjoy it, and tell the jerks to fall and die.
