shante ( ) posted Fri, 30 May 2008 at 6:23 PM · edited Mon, 23 December 2024 at 1:21 AM

Hi All!
need to get these two items for a greeting card.
A heart shaped hi res torus (no facets and smooth edged) if possible with morphing tube to adjust thickness and must be UV Mapped to texture.
Also need a nice heart shaped chocolates box also smooth edged and UV Mapped with removable lid.
if anyone knows where I might find these two items please let me know.
Thanks.

Puts on best Homer voice, "Yumm.. yumm.. chocolates... droool..."

Sumfink like this..?

Part of an old project that got shelved. Lid and chockies are removeable.

If you like... I could knock it out as a freebie.

Hey Ziggy
Looks delicious here too.
The box is not really going to house chocolates but a lovely V2 in a birthday suit comprising of ribbons and bows and bound to the heart shaped torus of similar shape. and all neatly placed in the box for presentation (afterall, presentation is everything!)

I was hoping to find a box that comes to a peak at the bottom like a typical heart graphic and the same shaped torus. But in a pinch this would be quite delish. Cool that the chocolates come out too I can eat them while packaging that naughty V2!
Does the part that snuggles the individual chocolates come out as well or can it be made invisible so I can have more depth to the box for placing my figure in?

Oh...I guess my answer would be : "Yes, I like. Can I have it?:  :)

mmm... should be able to modify the existing model easily enough... let me see what I can do.

Here is a box of chocolates for Vue.  Not sure if it can be converted to .obj for use in Poser though.

Scroll down to find it.

Oh Ziggy that is cool.
Is the Torus morphable and smooth (no facets) or can it be made with a pointed base? If so I can definitely use the box as is and the molded liner is a great touch.

To Acadia:

Thanks for the lead Acadia But I do not have Vue and to my understanding it would need to be at least opened in Vue and saved out or exported as an object...right?  :(

uhmm... depends what you mean by morphable. It is a seperate element so you will be able to scale it and use magnets on it.

Sorry... I don't have the time to make it more pointier, but you could probably use a magnet to do that.

I have made the liner as a seperate hi-res element so that you can use the cloth room to mold it to your V2's desired pose. Just flip her over onto her tummy... sink her beneath the ground plane... then set liner to collide with V2 and the ground... then flip liner over and put back into box.
