That's great! Too bad, the stimulus check I received can barely tickle me...

Oh well, there is always waiting and pinching pennies...

That is a great price for such a pro rig. Besides, with your talent you can easily justify the expense! Congrats Rod.

Bobby, I've been saving for a motorcycle..........This year we HAVE TO put the new roof on the house, so this is  compensation for the next year or two. Believe me, I'm thrilled to be getting the Cintiq, though I have promised myself that I WILL be riding 1500 CC's before I'm forced to get the Rascal.

Did I mention I do roofs? (Now that's an act of desperation to mention it here
, no?)

A new motorcycle ? Oh yeah!!

skiwillgee ( ) posted Tue, 03 June 2008 at 9:13 PM

I'm with you Bobby.  Got the same roof blues; and now is that a water stain I am seeing on the molding around the bath tub?  OH  NO!  Oh well, I like living on peanut butter for years at a time.

Oh well, we all have different situations to contend with. If it’s not the roof, it’s the boiler. Not the boiler then it’s the car. Maybe you haven’t seen the dentist in 2 years…so what’s the difference? We all have needs, each depending on their particular financial situation.

A windfall…my great aunt passed away and left me her pet skunk…is that a good or a bad thing? Gzzzzzz…there’s so many things I want. Why can’t everybody I know die and leave me everything they own?

Maybe the Stimulus Check came this week and I can buy that new washing machine I need or that new lawn mower or that new tattoo on my ass cheek I’ve been wanting for so long or that gold nose ring I so desperately need has now become a possibility.

As they say in the army…smoke them if you’ve got them…or in this case…spend it if you have it.

We all don’t have everything we want and it would be wonderful if we did. Today it might be my birthday and I got gifts. Tomorrow it will be someone else’s birthday.

Happy birthday ICM! Enjoy and much luck with it...with your talent...God knows you deserve it.

Bikermouse, you referring to my great aunt or her skunk? It’s yeah to both.

pauljs75 ( ) posted Fri, 06 June 2008 at 1:26 AM

Nifty, although way outside my budget. Even with the price reduction... I'll just stick with the trusty ol' Graphire in the meantime.

(But now I know there's more people lurking around with tablets, does that mean I can pester them into putzing about with networked OpenCanvas 1.1?  Besides it's more fun sometimes than just doodling on a solo basis.)
