I began dabbling with computer graphics about 7 years ago. Just to kill time and express some creative desires. As I got deeper into it, I bought new programs, learned new software, upgraded my computer several times and just had fun doing it.
But today I am pleased to announce that I was sought out and offered a job to create artwork for a computer game in the coming months. Imagine my reaction when I realized that someone wanted me for my abilities and that what originally began as a hobby and idle time killer is actually going to generate a respectable income. And all of this is on a freelance basis so I can do it all from home.
So for all of you, keep the creative juices flowing---you never know what may come if it.
Now I have a great opportunity to put to good use the Wacom Intuos3 12x9 tablet I got yesterday and Photoshop CS3 which will arrive tomorrow. WHOO HOO!
Now let's just hope I don't disappoint :^(
Actually I think it was my new avatar that brought me the attention ;^)
