Does anyone have this for sale? or know if it can be bought any cheaper than £69.95? which is the cheapest I can find.

Mark Bremmer, who is the moderator of this forum, made all those tutes.

Are you trying to circumvent his livelyhood?

They are a bargain at twice the price!

Agreed! They are probably the best tut dvd's I've seen. Buy 'em now.

I just want to be able to buy the dvds at the best price I can, I was wondering if they were cheaper than main stream, like Amazon.

I`ve seen them at different prices, this is why I asked.

Im not trying to circumvent his livelyhood, just trying to find out if I could get them cheaper, Im sure they are worth the price, but I have to watch what I spend.

Ive just been told about being able to subscribe for a month, which for me, will be much better, I didnt know this until I posted.

When you sign up for a month of VTC online, you get access to ALL their tutorials: a great deal!
I signed up to get the C6 tut's and ended up staying on for 3 months to get Poser, photoshop and dreamweaver tutorials, also.

I subscribed to Marks tutorials but i`ve had problems with the site and watching the video tutorials, after checking everything out and still getting no-where, I informed support.

I then headed straight to Amazon and ordered the DVDs set, can`t wait to get them. :)

I just ordered mine yesterday (my network connection isn't the most reliable for doing the on demand).  I ordered from VTC directly though

I got mine this morning :)

All boxed up, bubble wrap to lol

I did have problems with the player though, if anyone else has issues with the player, make a copy onto your desktop or elsewhere with a shortcut, then control panel and click Quicktime, hit the advanced tab and select Safe Mode, apply and ok.

Ive checked out a few tutorials and they are great, Mark has a great tutorial voice, he doesnt go to fast and his instuction is easy to understand.

I was hoping to find information on DMC files, still looking.

Overall GREAT!

Someone said that they sometimes had an updated player on the site you can download.  They were running Vista 64 and the one that came with the disc wouldn't work.  But it was suggested and they looked and then it worked.  Though I will remember that work around if I have problems.  Thanks

I have never had to use the specific player on my computer for some reason, however, if you visit the  site they have, just a few days ago, issued an updated version of the player.

Personally I use the Flash Tuts, they start quicker and I can even watch them at work, .....ssshhhhhh but don't them!!!

Quik Time seriously messes with the efficiency of PC's. It runs in the background, constantly trying to play all your files for you. If you only load the small, viewer version, it frequently wakes up, goes out on the internet and tries to download the latest upgrade: Usually at the worst possible moment. System programs do this, too, but you can control when they go shopping.
I uninstalled all quiktime files from my PC and haven't had a render crash since.
Flash works fine on PC's, only running when needed.
Now I have to load a backup computer with quiktime to watch Mark's super secret dark art tutorials.

Quicktime doesn't seem to be messing with my PC. Perhaps you have yours configed differently then I do.  Mine doesn't try to play the every media file.  The only thing you have that runs in the background is a quickloader which is an option, its not even full quicktime just something to start it faster (which you can also turn off).  I also turn off  I use VLC to play most of my other media, quicktime to play .mov and also do some editing of somethings with it.

I do have mine check for updates, however you can turn that off.

Mark's tutorials are just what I needed. So far ( I've only finished my first viewing of the 1st cd) everything is great. He does a perfect job of delivering the material and the amount of information presented is just right. Too often I've seen a tutorial with poor presentation that detracts from the technical material. It's clear that Mark is a true professional artist and he does possess great oratory delivery. I couldn't imagine a better investment of my money  in respect to learning
Carrara 6.  My hat is off to our Moderator.

As for player issues, I've had none using VTC's provided player.

P.S. another treat is his web site,  http://www.markbremmer.com/
